At The Nurse Next Paw, I provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary nursing care in your home, where pets feel safest and most relaxed. Travelling to the vet or groomer can be stressful for many pets, especially cats and rabbits, so I offer a calm, professional alternative that removes unnecessary anxiety.
My personalised, unhurried service is ideal for busy owners, those with transport or mobility challenges, or anyone wanting a more peaceful experience for their pet. Your pet will always see the same friendly face, allowing trust to build over time. Together, we can make pet care easier, calmer, and more comfortable—right at home.
ABOUT ME
With over 10 years’ experience as a qualified veterinary nurse, I’m passionate about providing calm, stress-free care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. My interest in animal behaviour has shown how much more relaxed and cooperative pets can be outside of a clinic setting, which inspired my home-visiting service.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, some services must be carried out under the direction of a veterinary surgeon and in line with current legal guidelines, which may require a review of your pet’s history beforehand.

Weekend home visits are available for a small £5 supplement, giving your pet the same professional, thorough care in the comfort of their own home—at a time that works for you.
Travel Surcharge
Home visits within 5 miles of Quedgeley are included in the service price.
For addresses slightly further away, a small travel supplement applies:
• 5–7.5 miles: £2.50
• 7.5–10 miles: £5
• 10+ miles: £10
Local Booking Days
If multiple appointments are booked in the same area on the same day, travel supplements may be reduced or waived.
